Grandma Tortures Hungry Grandchild Who Ate Her Party Jollof Rice
A wicked granny has been arrested in Abeokuta for allegedly torturing her grandchild.
The suspect identified as Madam Bosede Adebayo yesterday used hot pot to torture her 8-year-old grandchild for eating part of the cooked rice she brought from a party without her consent.
The incident happened at Baba Olodo House at Ijeun Tuntun area of Abeokuta Ogun State yesterday.
It was the timely intervention of neighbours who called the police that rescued the girl from the evil granny.
The girl has been admitted at the State Hospital in Ijaiye area of Abeokuta while Madam Adebayo is blaming the devil in the custody of policemen at Ibara police station.
According to a witness, the grandmother first beat the victim mercilessly before using the hot pot to inflict injuries on her body.
Arrangement is being made to transfer the case to Anti-Human Trafficking Department of Ogun State Women Affairs and Social Development.
